Default I need help ASAP!!!

I purchased a turbo kit from prpnum1 off of scion life. He sold me everything, but the manifold he sold me is cracked in multiple places (which i was not informed of, i had asked him multiple times if anything was wrong with the kit)! I've tried to ask for a partial refund through paypal, but he is ignoring me. I've tried to escalate it to a pay pal dispute but they said i don't qualify! I'm so mad that I'm gonna be out about $600. Can anybody help me with this!? What should I do!?!?!

i'm not trying to bash this guy, he has been really cool and as of right now we are talking to each other about our options. He claims to have had insurance on these packages. What would he need in order to make a claim. Would he need pictures before shipped?

^^ he need to check with the shipping company since he's the sender.. I doubt they cover it, those thing can handle shipping abuse and manifold cracks are most of the time obviously looks use/normal wear related

That is not shipping damage and that is extreme cracking. What manifold is it?
The seller should be held responsible, that is something he new about when he sold it!!!

Thats pretty obvious PREshipping damage. If he cant work something out with you....you might check with your local good auto metal fab shop and see if they think it's repairable. Either the original welds were crap or there was serious over heating/ abuse issue. I've raced my tC with aftermarket racing header installed and it still looks new. So could be a combo of poor build quality and abuse. Just my 2 cents...but I've been building streetrods for 20 years. So I know what I'm doing. Hope that helps.

it's obv. pre shipping. It is the dezod manifold. I really hope we can work something out. I spent 2500 on the whole kit and would only like a new manifold, everything else seems legit. Just bummed out.

WoW! Just stumbled upon this.

Sorry to hear about the misfortune, but that manifold was definitely abused HARD. Where the item had cracked, it appears to have been tuning related. My guess, some high EGTs with detonation caused the collector to practically crack in half (from the looks of it).

Also, notice in this pic the orange color, that would indicate EGTs being in the 1700 degree area, which is VERY high.

i would just get a new manifold with the proper footing for that turbo, from either dezod, or atp turbo etc.

remember, you get what you paid for, and don't boost on a budget,
