I juss bought a Strup for my Xb today...hopefully it comes as I seen it in the pic...

BUT I bought weather visors from ebay, and the look like POOPIES...on my Xb so now I just wasted money on them and I have to find a better set for my Baby...

so for me, it's 50/50

more than 90% of the parts on my cars over the years have been ebay. i've only been screwed once out of more than 200 transactions. perfectly safe!!!!!

Depends on what you are looking for. Some stuff is garbage. However if you are looking for genuine scion accessories you can get some good deals from scion dealers. I just got a genuine scion car cover on ebay for less than all the other places i looked at.

Ebay is safe as long as you only deal with people with good feedback, otherwise look out.

Exactly what bikeguy said.

Just to add, there is some stuff you don't want to buy on eBay. For example, I wouldn't buy a body kit off eBay, but have no problem buying stereo equipment from there.

I only buy stuff from people with high feedbacks or if they have an online store or something of that nature. every thing i have on my box is from ebay. i had only one problem but it was fixed

yeah ebay is okay as long as you are careful. places like mp3playerstore, with lots of negative feedback <there and elsewhere online> are not safe, but places with 99%+ positive feedback and responses to negative feedback are a safe bet. i know clair scion uses ebay a bit to sell cars they need to get off the lot.

seeing as i sell on ebay sometimes, it's safe to say: not everyone on ebay is trying to rip you off. and those that do get caught.

I'm an Ebay freak, love to buy and sell. It's fun and feel that it's the place to get the best deals. So far I feel that it's as safe as Wally-World.

Shop around everywhere, not just Ebay and you'll see where the best deals are.

It's a toass up. It depends greatly on the seller. I buy and sell things on eBay and I try to make sure it is packaged properly and sent out asap. That is just me.

I've got a grille not too long ago and it came in jacked up and not as described. I had to go through Paypal to try and get my money back. That is still going on... Rat Bastards!

DON'T BUY FROM "4CAROPTION"

EDIT:
I think parts like: Pedals, shift *****, things that are not easily damaged during shipping are perfect items to buy. It isn't something the seller can say, it was damaged by UPS and you didn't have insurance so you loose. Know what I mean.

aww @ eggie...my heart goes out 2 you...but like everyone says, it depends on the seller...Usually i don't get "raped" out of a deal on ebay for I have been dealing with ebay since I was 13...Almost 6 yrs later and this would of been only the 2nd time i have been dissatisfied.
