Default NST = Bad Customer Service

I bought the NST CR light crank pulley. I had it installed by my mechanic who said there was something wrong with it. I was the first person to post that there was a problem with it. NST said to send it back because it was not machined properly.
Now there was some damage to the pulley because it was not properly made. I would think that NST would have sent me a new one. But they just sent the same one with the beveling.
My mechanic refuses to install it because the center hole is now oval, and there are deep gashed caused by the key pin shearing off.
All the damage to pulley was caused by the pulley rubbing up against the crank case and shearing off the key pin because it was made improperly.
I sent NST a email expalining what happened and asked them to replace it but now 3 weeks later there is no reply.
If anyone in North Jersey wants my pulley they can have it for FREE.

from my experience NST has great customer service, not going to get into it but i talked to Mike on aim (NSTonAIM) and he took care of the problem fairly quick as i was in no rush for the part. i doubt what i went through anyother company would of did the same that Mike at NST did for me.

I also had fantastic customer service from NST. They took care of me with the impropper machined bevel. The pulley was the exact same one I sent in, with the modifications needed. This is possibly the first I've heard any bad experience regarding their pulleys, and not just on this forum. I still highly recommend NST.

PETERY2KRABBIT, You're not alone. I'm also having trouble getting a hold of them. I wrote them an e-mail back on the 3rd plus PM'd them last Sunday. I'm getting nothing.

Hi guys,

Mike here at NST. I am always available on AIM at the screen name ( NSTonAIM ) and also available by phone ( 281-917-0221 ) Monday through Friday. I also reply to as many Emails as I humanly can, during the work week. This info is listed on our website, for all to see.

Please understand that PMs on the forums and Emails are unfortunately, the slowest and least accurate/predictable way to reach us.

We pride ourselves on good customer service, and customers who take the proper channels of communication are always taken care of, as you see from the feedback of some of our customers in this thread.

I'm going to refrain from making any specific comments in this thread... but if any of you ever have any questions, comments, or inquiries... please contact us by phone and give me the opportunity to work with you directly.

Thanks again, good luck and have fun with all your projects everyone.
