Default The people at Roseville Toyota are MORONS.

so i fone this dealership for a price quote on a supercharger (part and installation) and get one heck of a deal.....so i thought. the lady quotes me a price of $2300 for the part and $900 for labor. so with tax it came to $3366.75. i thought wow, are u sure. she said yes. so i told her to set me up for an appointment for tuesday. so she does and she even did it one better and set me up with a rental for the day because i couldn't find a way home once i dropped off the car. i was like its too good to be true. well u know what they say..... it was. i called the dealership the day before i was to drop it off to confirm and they tell me that it was misquoted and i couldn't get it for that price after all. it was supposed to be $3200 not $2300 for the part. you would think that ppl working at a dealership could read. the only way i would forgive this would be if that lady was dyslexic. after all can't cap on the handicapped. man, they ruined my dreams. damn you Roseville Toyota. i curse thee. don't give this dealership any business ppl, they're shady.
[end rant]

wasn't really shady, just gave you the wrong price. They didn't even take your money yet man. Come on now. I know your mad, but thats no reason to make them seem like crooks. Price mistakes can happen, I am sure they would have told you when you showed up to. Although it would have been bad a$$ to get it at the price that it was qouted though! :D

ehh.. honest mistake.. the lady probably was unfamiliar with the car and just misquoted you mistakingly.. (it's just her that's a "MORON")

it doesn't mean the whole dealership is shady.

besides... you should know... if it sounds too good to be true...

it probably is.

You should have gotten the $2300 quote in writing!

yea all im sayin is if they already quoted me the honorable thing to do was to "honor" the deal. its not the consumers (my) fault if they misquote. how hard is it to read off a sheet anyway? if i did have it in writing it would be a diffent situation but i got a phone quote so thats how they were able to weasel out of it. in that sense they are "shady".

What I learned from every business experience, don't do business over the phone. Get what you want directly in person.
