Default tpdracing rip off - "supporting" vendor

theperformancedriver.com (tpdracing on this forum).

They have good prices, a nice "canned" ecommerce website & good prices.
I ordered a bunch of silicone hoses from them for some custom turbo work.

I sure hope you have better luck that I did after the sale.
I sent these guys $168 via paypal on 8/24.
After 2-3 weeks, I emailed asked for a status on the order. I never received a response. I left messages on their phone.
Now I understand that they might not stock the various hoses that I ordered - so that's not a problem. I just needed an ETA on delivery.

A little over a week ago with no contact, I initiated a paypal dispute.
TPDracing agreed to issue a refund, luckily I kept the paypal dispute open.
Today I got a notice that paypal was unable to recover any funds.

Again, after unanswered emails and phone calls, I was able to reach someone named Victor. Victor knew nothing about this issue, but has promised to resolve it.

We'll see. Escalation is going to be contacting every forum that these guys "sponsor" and faxing in proof of payment, the paypal dispute, and the fact that I have been unable to recover any money.

If you do pay these guys, pay via CREDIT CARD.

Note, I'm willing to post resolution of this issue assuming these guys take responsibility and actually issue a REFUND, but the way their running this "business" is very irresponsbile. They've had a ton of opportunities to pick up the phone or send an email response.

Mods - I'm happy to provide you whatever documentation you need to prove these claims and get businesses like this OFF your supporting vendor list. Supporting the forum and ripping off individuals does no one any good...

These guys have resolve this issue, more than 30 days later.
They requested that I get a vendor account on gmail and then paid me via CC.
Not a fun experience, but they did eventually come through with money.
