What??? ZPI bad business? No, way! The only reason ZPI is in a hiatus now is due to the fact that the guy with a halo around his head cordially stepped down to pursue life in Texas and this other guy, Danny just wants to screw everyone over. When Kenmeister was around, everyone got their parts and A+ customer service. Damn that Danny!

UPDATE:

Everyone knows about me and my car and it being in the middle of this. Some people know where I am now. I am in a hotel room in KY. Me and whocares left Wednesday night from FL to KY. We both were up for over 30+ hours. I came to pickup my car. I'm in the hotel room and it's 3:45am and I have slept all of 2hrs. I'm not sure what I'm going to go into with this post but I can't sleep and I know people want to hear.

Let me let everyone know that whocares is friends with Kenny (some know already). He became friends with him after the shootout and even more so during his trip for his install. He was in a awkward position by coming with me but nonetheless he was helping out another friend and picking up some big red soda.

We got into KY on Thursday afternoon to pickup my car. My good friend lent me his SUV to drive 1100 miles each way (awesome friend). We got into town and passed by ZPI and headed to the hotel. We then went to uhual to pickup the trailer to tow the car back. On the way here, in KY we saw a sign that read "Hell is real" we joked that with the situation that it was so true. We go to hook the trailer up and ran into hitch light problems. It was 100+ outside (more on this later). I busted my ___ and we stopped by Arby's while we waited for Kenny to call to tell us he was on his way. In the mean time I got heat stroke and puked my brains out. We decide to head back to the hotel where I took a shower and we watched tv. We then decided to head over to zpi and call Kenny again. He said 15mins or 45mins or some crap. We were there for a little over an hour and the thermometer in the car read upto 116 degrees.

Chad showed up and then Kenny did shortly after. They open up the shop and it's a shop, what do you want me to say? I see what's in the shop. Let's just say not counting my car there is three customers cars in there. Jester's car being one (and he is not hiding that), an xB who he knows who he is (and so do some others) and another car that is not a scion (and I'm sure he knows). Each of them is aware of their own cars situation. If they want to tell you then that is up to them but all is in a different situation then me and my car.

I look in the engine bay of my car and everything is gone and I mean everything (pics soon). I then get a tub of parts and couple of boxes of parts nuts, bolts and other hardware. I then get the transmission. Kenny and Chad helped me and Mike load the car and parts in the truck. They didn't have to do any of that and it was very helpful (I'm sure a lot of people have come backs for what I just said).

I asked about my original engine and was told it's at golden eagle and would still need all the parts including a crank. We left without it.

Me and Kenny had a talk and I got to hear him for the first time about this. I won't really say what he said at this time or maybe even any other time. What I will say is there is a lot of crap happening and that's not based on just what he said and I'm sure that's nothing new to you guys. I will say that no matter how you approach your situation it will most likely take some time for things to come about.

There are ways to approach the no parts or money problem. It's up to you on what you choose. I will say Kenny is not dead or in another country. He is going to be in Texas at turbochargers.com. I said it before,,, if Kenny and turbochargers.com don't try to help sort this mess out it could look bad for both of them and ultimately hurt their business. I will say that the mess is trying to be cleaned up. Either the parties involved will settle this, the lawyers, or the judge(s).

Hang in there everyone without money or parts. I know you may think that's easy for me to say now that I have my car. Remember I have nothing in the engine bay, no motor, a lot of money lost to get it back, and I don't want to even imagine how much it will cost for someone to put all that stuff back in my car and have to figure out where all the hardware goes.

Thanks for reading and if you can help me please feel free to pm me. I know I will send out a few pms. I'd like to thank everyone that has helped me in one way or another with this mess... My Step Mom, Mike, Ryan, Brett, Travis and the people who answered my pms or sent me pms.

Wish us a safe trip home with that trailer. I will check in once we get back home.

Well gang I have read almost 13 pages of accusations, complaints, and everything else you can imagine. I too am a ZPI customer, and waited a great while for my product. All I can do, and say is that i wash my hands of all this mess. What ever may become of ZPIracing INC. Mr. Kenny Strickler I bid them all farewell.

I see no reason for people who were not ZPI customers to continually say "I told you so" over and over again. If you were not effected by them, then just leave it alone, and mind your own p's and q's.

I understand that in the aftermarket world people choose a company and tend to stick with it. I have delt with Dezod a few times because ZPI couldn't get me the parts i needed at the time. I didn't jump onto SL and bash them because they couldn't get me my parts. Its a give and take realationship, it's part of the business.

For those people who atr tied up in this whole mess I hope that everything gets resolved quickly and everyone is satisfied in the end.

I didn't get my ZPI decal. When I brought a part from them. I'm still waiting and that was a year ago. LOL. ( I don't care if it came with a decal or not. I'm just buggin)
I hope that everything gets resolved quickly. I hate to see people loose their money on some BS. Good luck to everyone.

I'm still trying to find the freaking video camera. It's up and disappeared and no one knows where it is. Having to use my digicam doesn't make for the best video quality (well, I can get good quality out it, just only 3 minutes worth).

I take our car to him because he does good work on it, makes it faster, and I go do my thing. I have no reason to complain.

Others may not have had so good turn outs, but that has nothing to do with my own personal experience.

Default Talk about a first post.

I have talked to many, many people since August 3rd and Kenny's mass email describing the alleged state of ZPI and his position. After reading it I was surprised like many of you. Well everyone except Rythmnsmoke who probably knew before I did.

Since that email I have received many phone calls and complaints from many Zero Point Industries customers and ZPIRacing customers both. Yes there is a difference. The fact of the matter is that Kenny and I had issues on July 9th and at that point I was locked out of the building and the user names and passwords were changed on the websites.

All I can say is I was surprised by what I heard from so many people. After hearing the problems and comparing it to what Kenny had told me more than a month earlier I was really not happy. At this point Kenny and I are going to arbitration to hopefully work something out on Tuesday morning. If Kenny and I can agree to some resolution about who is responsible for what we will have this sorted out at that time. IF not then this will continue in a more formal manner. Part of the negotiations will include a list of the people who have contacted me, their complaint, and the specifics of their situation. Some are clearly not my problem but I will attempt to get a resolution to everything since Kenny is now at Turbochargers.com.

What has happened is very embarrassing and un-professional by all parties. I would however like to point out that a few Scionlife members might be considered Kenny's mouthpiece or marketing department. Many people I spoke with miss quoted me a few minutes after I spoke with them and many of the rumors posted on here are untrue. I think it is unprofessional to air company business in a public forum but Paul asked me to post a message after he got his car back today and by the time I got to page 8 I felt obligated.

Essentially this is a business deal gone badly wrong and there may be some legal issues around how things were handled by the current and past officer(s) of one or more company(s) involved. I still believe both Kenny and I want to get this resolved as quickly and with as little litigation as possible so he can move on to making Turbochargers.com into ZPI and I can get back to my full time job.

I would like to apologize publicly to the people directly affected by this. You were caught in the middle of something that has nothing to do with you. I am sure that rings hollow at this point and you just want your money/parts/car. I do not plan on responding to PM's or even read the many of the posts that follow. I got to page 8 or so of this thread and gave up. I will post a message after Kenny and I meet on Tuesday for arbitration following up on this situation. Please hang in there if ZPIRacing owes you something as I plan on having a resolution by Tuesday.

Danny

PS I am sorry for the following to all adults and professionals as the following is definitely not professional but I couldn’t resist. Rythmnsmoke your sponsorship by ZPIRacing Inc has officially been revoked. I will be sending you a bill for all of the free parts and labor you were provided between December 29th 2006 and July 3rd 2007 based on your involvment and support for a ZPI competitor. So you can go ahead and change your signature to Turbochargers.com Fire Shooter. Bummer you will have to go to Houston to get your car fixed when it breaks again. Flame suit is now on. Enjoy
