Default ZPI did it again..

Remember JohnnyBlazed?

I thought Scionlife would be interested.

My story in a nutshell.
Basically, I ordered a stage 0 turbo and some other stuff from ZPI, a total cost of $3583.57. I asked for and confirmed a full refund in July and haven't seen a cent of it.

At the time, Keisha told me that there would be no cancellation fee because the item was never shipped. So I'd get $3583.57 back.

The refund never came, and I decided to contact Kenny about it. He promised to send the refund by a certain date (again). When he didn't send the refund by the promised time, I had my attorney send him a demand letter. Kenny then told me that due to a 25% cancellation fee I'd only get $2687.67.

My attorney sent him a demand letter again, and he never responded.

I PM'ed Hillbilly, who apparently helped out with JohnnyBlazed's situation, but he hasn't responded to my message, either.

whatchu think

^ I know, it seems like this is a frequent problem that takes months on end to resolve. I'm never buying from them after the things I have read here.

Just for your protection, just don't start a bash thread again, don't want any slander or such to weaken your case when it gets brought to court or the like. It's easy to turn into one of those when so many of us have heard horror stories about ZPI and their folk there, so let's keep it to helpful advice here, just an afterthought.

My Stage 0 was supposed to be here two weeks ago. and I haven't heard crap from them. I've called, sent emails, pm's, im's you name it I've done it and I've gotten the run around. First they said It would be here the 20something of October, then they said It would ship out last week, as part of the " 35" turbos shipping out...Well, Nothing, and From the conversation I had last week with them, they are all packing up shop and going to sema all this week. Meanwhile my $3,863 sits at their place.....

Kenny, Danny, and Sean are all currently attending SEMA 2006 therefore why no emails, aims, pms, or phone messages are being returned. They will all return Monday, November 6th.

As to my knowledge for those kits currently on order, they will be shipping next week as the missing component arrived late last week. If you have a pending order, I advise you to call the shop this week between 10am-5pm or email me, keisha@thescionstore.com if you'd like status. I'll be in the office all week answering phones as I have been the last two days.

As for the pending situation, there are two sides to every story. This customer has proceeded with legal counsel, thus where the situation is pending. Once legal contact is made, all communication for the sake of both parties stays within the legal agenda.

Keep in mind, this thread is not meant to bash on ZPI. Rather, the thread is intended to simply share both sides of the story with the members of Scionlife, so that we can all understand the reason some people have a bad relationship with ZPI.

Since ZPI did not reply to my attorney's second letter explaining the miscommunication between ZPI's workers regarding the cancellation fee and such (explained on the first post of this thread), I would like to ask ZPI to share "their side of the story."

Even now, I still don't understand why ZPI fails to send me the promised full refund for the turbo kit I ordered back in May. I would like ZPI to clarify the reason for this issue.

So sad.. Im sorry you guys have to go through all this. I almost ordered some parts from ZPI a while ago when I first started seeing these threads pop up and im so glad now that I didnt.

IHMO if they are that far behind on orders then SEMA should be an afterthought and they should stay to work with customer issues instead of giving people the run around

Just an addendum... I was going to beta their xB turbo kit and I ran into hard times with my job and such and after a bit of dialogue between Danny (VP) and myself I had a certified check for a full refund. I was pleased with the outcome. Now it's time to start looking into a Stage 1 for the new tC ... Being employed again is great..

Default What a bunch of bs from a bs company.

Can someone please just take them to court and with a lawsuit and put them out of business. Either that or please leave scionlife and stop taking money for parts you don't even have in stock. Then making up stories about when their parts will be shipped. These customers should be refunded in full plus interest! These guys are up to their old tricks and the same lame response. I would not even buy parts COD from these losers.

ZPIracing will not "share their side of the story" and this is not the place for he said, she said, etc. As we have stated before, once a situation goes to legal counsel, all communication stays in legal counsel for the benefit of all parties involved.

There's nothing to see here.

It is in the lawyers' hands.
