Zpi xb turbo kit.... DONT DO IT!!!!!!!!!
ok.. i bought this kit at the beggining of APRIL and i still have not received it! is anyone else waiting on ____ from ZPI???? I awear this is the last thing i ever buy from them!!!! As soon as they get your money, they fall off the map, and the only way to get a freakin update is by contacting THEM!!!!
If you buy something from ZPI, you'll turn gray before it shows up at your door! If your already gray, then your just flat out screwed! I'm so using that as my Sig..lol

dont mean to be an ___.. but how else are you supposed to get an update without contacting them.. its the customers responsiblity to call to get the update.. thats what alot of customers dont understand.. is that business's are busy with other things too, not just you
so your saying if you buy something and your not notified where your money is, thats cool? hey i'll sit on your money if your cool with that. it seems like they are getting 0% interest thru there customers. i think they should notify people where there thousands are.

i shouldn"t have to call them for an update!! I paid for this kit in APRIL!!! and Kenny told me tht it would ship out at the end of April.... nothing ever showed up.. so now i have to call them to get updates! i'm in the retail business, and if someone bought something from me and i told them that i would ship it to them next week, and i didn't, your saying its thier responsability to call me and find out whats going on!?!?!?!!?!!?!?! I DON"T THINK SO...
Anyway... i sent a long ___ email to kenny MONDAY, and here it is WED, and i still haven't heard from him! they might have decent products, but thier customer service blows dick!!!!! if i have to call a company to find out where the hell my item, or money is 3 months down the road, thats enough for me to put a ZPI SUCKS sticker on all 3 of my cars! I'll team up with another company and support them before i ever send someone to ZPI!

I know that Kenny was out of the office till recently I think today. He was in TX last week. A lot of thier stuff is back ordered and when I spoke to him today he said they were just swamped with business. I know most of that swamping is Labor customers and when I call him late in the day he is usually packaging up someones stuff.
I haven't heard anything good from ZPI EVER!!! I think they are probably the worst company here on scionlife. Ive been waiting for my Turbo Toyotas kit for about 2 months now, and i had this same problem with Todd, until one day i sent him a healthy email and he apologized for the $hitty customer service, which was exactly what i was looking for. I went 2 weeks without hearing a word, even after i i emailed. I guess these guys just get swamped with work, small companies that sell a lot usually have a tendency to get back ordered.
I HIGHLY agree that the company should email you, not the other way around. If you told me my kit would be ready at a certain date and it isn't, why could you send me a simple message, giving my reason, even if its a lie, just keep me under control, MANAGE MY EXPECTATIONS!!! Its not that hard.

it can become hard when all of your customers want someone to talk to them.. would you rather have your parts worked on? or for the person to sit on the phones all day calling every individual?
also working with backorders can be a pain in the ___.. they have things on order always, that way they can give you a set date when its available. then without notice the companies they order from start backordering your parts..
i deal with this every day, i know its a pain in the ___ for you, but i perfer not to lie, til i got a clear idea of the ETA of when it comes off backorder..

See, that's the problem. Backorders. You are just pointing out that zpi's suppliers probably have them on backorder, but they would know that. The consumers don't know that. Zpi is also doing the same thing as there supplier is probably doing, backordering turbo kits. Zpi's problems aren't the consumers so if they do have a problem delivering then I think they should at least send out a bulk email to there customers. But then again you always see threads like these about zpi delivering late and people still go ahead and buy these kits. If they give you a written date and don't come through, I would ask for my money back. And if I don't get my money back, I would notify my bank or credit card company. Seems that most zpi's business is through sl so maybe they should post and clarify what is.
There's no excuse for what ZPI does with notifying the customer however I will say that a phone call before blasting them always works. I've had shipping problems with them but a call in has always got the process moving a little faster. Should you have to do that, NO! At the same time I also don't know any other company besides maybe Dezod that will take the time to answer a customers call in regards to installs, parts or just general questions. Thre customer service is one of the best they just need to speak to IBM or UPS for a business solution.
another freakin post on this bs... geeze. This was happening this time last year. Seems like it takes 50 angry customers and posts to get these guys to do anything. When will they learn?
