DESCENDANT Ver2.0 Scion tC Turbo Kit
I figured I would make this the spot to talk about the DESCENDANT Ver2.0 Scion tC Turbo Kit since its a little spread out right now thru the forum.
The difference with the Ver2.0 kits is the new Precision VBAND Turbocharger & TiAL Sport MVS Wastegate which are now included with both "Bolt-On & Go" & "Tuner Friendly" versions of the DESCENDANT Turbo kit.
The Precision Turbocharger uses a custom 55mm inducer and utilizes a VBAND inlet & outlet for EZ Install & maintenance. This unit is capable of 500+ WHP and still gives great response & zero LAG for customer at 300WHP. The TiAL Sport MVS wastegate also uses VBAND's for EZ installation and is included with 3 different spring rates for customer to fine tune their desired boost level.
Best part of all..."THE PRICE"
The DESCENDANT Ver2.0 kits are the same price. For more information please feel free to PM me here on Scionlife or call us.

at the moment no bov is offered for tuning purposes. Since our cars have mafs if you need to have the excess boosted air recirculated back into the intake are the car would run pig rich. its all about driveability, but we will see.

your right its about tuning. cause i have a tial BOV and mines doesnt run rich!

HKS SSQV vents to the atmosphere just fine on the tC though, no rich-stalling issues using that one.

Since on this kit it looks like the maf is before the bov, it is going to automatically assume that air is present. So, if you disconnect the recirculating bov and run it vta then that air is not accounted for and you will run rich, sometimes to the point of stalling the vehicle.
Correct me if i'm wrong...

I wouldn't let such a small thing deter you from getting this kit...they do offer an alternative intake that does away with the stock airbox and just uses a cone filter. Though you can fab up an intake on your own pretty easily if you wanted to. I plan on modifying my injen cai to fit up to this kit.

"Considering" because i'm currently deployed to South Korea. Everyone will be "driving their turbocharged cars!" until i return anyways at which time my build funds, as seen in my sig, will be dropped to build a monster.
So yeah, til' then i'll just stick to "considering and critquing".

It's not necessarily due to tuning, nor which bov you have... It depends on the location of the maf sensor and your bov. Depending on where the sensor is located it may or may not pick up the air that is being circulated.

The MAF is before the BOV on all other kits (except one) that vent to the atmosphere without stalling issues.
