if you have to take them out for some reason what kind of adhesive do you re apply when you put them back in

Yea, I was wondering the same thing. You dont want the adhesive to mess anything up.

 

Exactly i havent had to take mine out yet, but just wanted to make sure that headliner adhesive that someone told me to use was correct for these plugs

 

a) quantity- 1 rear wiper plug
b) paint code- bcp-3p2
c) Vehicle model- xB

Do not use any other adhisive then Rubber cement. That is what I tested with and that is what works.

The reason being that rubber cement is non distructive unlike many of the other adhisives. When you take them out it breakes the rubber bond and then all you do is clean it up with some alcohol on a Qtip and then add the rubber cement on the stem and reinsert.

Repete do no use anything else otherwise you may not be able to get it off.

Rubber cement is avalible everywhere and like I said before it is non distructive and will not harm the paint or locks in anyway.

Just follow the instructions on this link. I would recomend using the Contact cement which you can purchase at any hardware store.
