Hey, take a look at these and give me some advice. Do I need a different color, do my fogs need to be raised? This is the type of weather somtimes I drive home in and its effing difficult to see anything but a line a few feet in front of the car.

Wow, ok your 3000k fog lights do show lines that can be seen within the light of the 4300k low's.

When you ask if you need a different color, how do you mean? Did you just replace your stock bulbs with other bulbs? or do you have HID's?

I'd rec. 6000k HID's if you're looking to upgrade. I've seen these things to shine a long way away. You may wish to look into doing yellow fogs, not sure what k that is though.

Right, Do I need a different K bulb. Its all hid, 4300 high and low and 3000k fog. What can be done to increase vision? I see on a clear night I can see at least 4 lines along the road with low and no fogs.

operatic, guys, am I expecting too much from my lights? Do I need projectors? What about aiming? Instead of afjusting them, I just left them alone and decided to wait for people to flash me before I did any changes. I did raise my fogs an inch, however seems to have little impact since they are just a flood light. Do I need a different color bulb? I had considered 3000k as with my silver stars the 3000k fogs brought out a lot more detail, then switch to the silver stars to pass inspection. Not sure if yellow would be illegal in VA,but I do see other color head lights on cars down the interstate.

The lights are well worth the wait and the hardware feels bullet proof.

The problem really is the fact that you're limited by the factory housings. In his case, I would raise the fog lights to get the most out of them. There's not a whole lot else we can do there. Even with the factory HID's on a Mini Cooper S, it's hard to see in the rain when it starts pouring hard down here :T

We are still waiting to get constant power / internet back from hurricane Ike, so things have slowed down a bit. But hopefully by next week we should have power back and things running more smoothly. But I sent you a PM

Any aftermarket projector won't help you really. A different color bulb usually does not make a big difference. We have had some people feel that they can see better with 12k than they can with a 5k in the low beams. But the 3k set up in the fogs is the best to help see better in rain / fog / snow. Also yellow fog lights are not illegal in any state as far as I have found out. But I do know in some states it is illegal to turn the fog lights when there is not adverse conditions outside.
