If your still driving a 06 xB in your profile - no because the H4 kit has HID low beam, halogen high beam.

 

For those who has H4/9003 headlights. I have noticed that a relay might be needed in order to have the high beam to work. Please let me know if your high beam don't turn on. If so I'll have to mail you the relay.

I am a noob and found this awesome deal my first day checking out the forums. Anyway I am thoroughly impressed with the quick turn around for the sales process. I placed my order early Friday afternoon and received my order Monday afternoon via USPS. I didn't know that USPS could even ship that quickly especially since shipped out of CA and I live in TN.

Plan on installing tomorrow, but wanted to commend HIDXTRA for the great Customer Service.

I have sold quite a few H4 kits to scionlife.com members.
H4 is your headlights. We have two types of H4:
Type A: H4 Hi/Lo - Low beam on HID, High beam on halogen bulb. Both bulbs come in our kit. Cost is $60
Type B: H4 Bi-Xenon - Both low and high beam on one HID bulb. HID bulb moves up for high beam and down for low beam. Cost is $90.

 

Do you have any video of the switching from low and high beam for both kits? Curious what kind of time it takes for the headlight to switch.

I dont' have video available, but I can tell you that it switched to high and low beam instantly.

 

I am 2 seconds from ordering this, but am really stuck between whether to get the 6000k, or the 8000k!

Which would look better with an 06?? Soon as I decide, I'll be sending in the order!

 

Just finished installing kit, it was super easy. Have to see what it looks like tonight while driving, but looked real good when i turned out all lights in my garage.

I've got the 6k bulbs and it looks very white with not much blue, which is what I was going for.

 

Is it me or is it weird why the people "buying" and "reviewing" this kit all are fairly new or straight up new to SL with only a few posts. Anyone find this strange?
