^^you know what. now that somebody brought it up. my driver side bulb seems to be a tad brighter then the other side also. i sorta thought it was just the direction that it reflects in the headlight caused this but i could be wrong...

I've been noticing that too. At one point I wanted to sit in the middle console to ponder if both lights are in the same brightness category. If this could be fixed, I would be glad to know, other than that, I'm contempt with what I have

i first noticed it lastnight when i was at a gas station and i was looking at the reflection of my hids in the wondow and so i was like whatever then i got home and looked at them and sure enough the drivers side was brighter so i turned them off and then back on and they were perfect.

silver - no green or red hid kits in stock right now. if you want to special order a green setup, just pick up an h4 kit on the sale page and shoot me an e-mail reminder and i'll bring in a set for you.

about the different sides being different brightnesses - you sure guys that it's not just the headlight housings?

can you take pics and send them over to sales@mobilehid.com?

thanks.

switching bulbs from the left housing to the right housing will tell you if its the bulbs or housings.......
my money is on the housing's being diff.....cuz who paid any attention as to which bulb from what position in the kit went where??????

yea so every once in a while i have to expain to someone how the color temperature thing works, and when they find out that 8000k(which is what i have) is supposed to be less bright that 6000k, people always ask me, "why the hell are your hids so much brighter then mine" and i reply "because i actually purchase good quality products" thanks cliff!

Sorry I'm dumb but, I want some of these HIDs for my xD. They're low beam only for the H4 (9003) right? What would I do for my highbeams if these HIDs are going in my stock headlamps? Is it possible to get the low+high for a similar price?

woot! i just finally made my purchase for the 9006 6K set. I'm hoping this will be an easy install... not too sure where to put the ballasts for the 1st gen xB...

If anyone is willing to give me a hint or two for this let me know! I would appreciate it

Tips:

Make sure relay is placed somewhere it WONT get wet. Also good if you electrical tape it up real well, just to make sure.

Electrical tape the passenger side plug that won't be used anymore, just to stop it from getting wet and rusty.

Industrial strength adhesive velcro works really well for mounting ballasts, if you don't use the brackets for both of them. I attached one of mine via velcro and still going very strong.
