I'm thinking you want 4300k because it will be a very pure white. No blue, no yellow, just white.

FYI: I shipped out all the weekend orders today. Your wire harnesses, kits, bulbs, etc... will all arrive in the next few days.

Also,

Just wanted to give you guys a heads up. I've only installed single bulb H4 kits before so I checked out how these H4 hi/low kits worked and found that they have to be modified in order for them to work with the included wiring harness. You can of course use them without the wiring harness but that's not really the best way to wire up one an HID kit.

Since a handful of you guys purchased these H4 kits under the impression they were entirely plug and play, I did the modifications for you.

When you get your kit, you'll notice one of the bulbs labeled with a "P". That bulb has been modified to be the passenger bulb. It will have a plug that goes into your stock harness plug so your hi beams will work.

The other bulb (driver's side) will have a bare black wire sticking out of it and another black wire with a spade connector at the end. These have to be connected to the wiring harness in order for your high beams to work on the driver's side of the vehicle.

If this doesn't make sense now, it will when you get the kit. I'll post a write up in the next two days.

Thanks all.

Clifford

Doanrs - I shipped out your kits today.

The 6k 9006 kits are going quick.

If any of you are Nissan owners, I still have many 9004 kits.

Great questions man.

If you don't want the high beam version of the kit, I can certainly just send out the single low beam kit. The light emitted will be 3 times brighter if you get the 4300k and I personally haven't used my high beams that often after installing the HID bulbs.

About the custom wiring needed to use the wiring harness. Yes, I will continue to do the custom wiring for each H4/9003 kit purchased until January 12. I took some VERY detailed photos and will have a link up for a tutorial by the end of the day today.

Here is one of the shots. For the hi/low H4/9003 kits, all you'll need to do is crimp a butt connector (not pictured) to connect the grounds and insert the positive terminal for the high beam bulb. I am making sure the rest of the kit is plug and play.

The hi/low kits are selling quick but I will have a new shipment in early Jan. I still have quite a few of the single low beam kits in stock.

Thanks and lemme know if you have any more questions.

FYI: I called USPS to see what the hold up is since the packages mailed on Monday should have arrived at the latest- today. They said they've been swamped with xmas shipments so please hang tight.

All packages were mailed with "Delivery Confirmation" so I checked through the list of packages I sent off on Monday and Tuesday and only a couple have been delivered, hopefully they'll arrive on Friday or Saturday.

Thanks everyone for your orders. Just a reminder, this special wholesale price continues until January 12.

The ballast is your standard 35watt, 12volt ballast.

We've had some interest in 50 watt ballasts and projector retrofit kits so we may offer those soon.

I'll keep you all posted when we decide to offer them.

808Scion - I'll have to double check on the 4300k H3 kits. I know we only had a few left but I'll keep you posted.

Thanks all for the interest and orders.

I only have 3500k bulbs in the 9006 kits. I read your signature and if you have the fogs, the 9006 kit will actually fit in your factory fog light housing. But that's the DOT fog light housing.

Do you know if your JDM housing also fits 9006?

Also, for those of you who are running other kits that do not provide a wiring harness, you may have noticed some flickering issues when your bulbs fire up or notice that your lights sometimes do not even fire up at all sometimes. What you need is a wiring harness that connects your battery directly to your ballasts, I have 9006 and H4 wiring harnesses for sale. The wiring harness includes a relay to turn on the HID bulbs and a fuse wired inline.

Please visit http://www.mobilehid.com/scionlife.htm to purchase the appropriate wiring harness for your HID kit.
