4300K 9006 kit

Bumper removal wasn't necessary for installation, but the driver's side is tough for my hands to squeeze through and carefully insert the bulb, so I took out the headlight just to be on the safe side. The thread below has more pix and simple (short) instructions.

Clifford...went by my mail box today and still to my dismay I have not received my kit. What im confused about is unfazed has his kit being sent via fedex, while mine was USPS. And I ordered my set on Dec. 29th, it is now the 4th and still has not come in. I live in California which is right next to AZ so I don't see how these have not come in yet. It is not like I live back east. i just dont get why mine was sent USPS, and still not received, where as other set(s) have been sent via FedEx. Sorry but I have now grown frustrated. I know the price included shipping, but if it was delayed this much, I would have paid more (which was not an option on the site) to receive the kit within a 5 day time.......
Hey Bossman, I'm sorry to hear you haven't received the kit yet. I'll check on the shipping of your kit when I get back to the office.
As far as next day shipping is concerned, I agree, I should have offered it if you guys are willing to pay for it. Going forward, that will be the case.
About unfazed's order, his kits should get to him tomorrow but he paid a premium for the shipping.

hey bossman, don't forget that Monday was New Year's Day and Tuesday was Ford's funeral. The USPS was closed for both holidays. There's a good chance USPS sat on the package since Saturday and it didn't leave AZ till yesterday (Wednesday)!!!
808- You won't have to mod anything, it will be just plug and play. H3 bulbs in general are single use bulbs. Within your aftermarket headlamp assembly, you should have a light for your high beams separately.
Thanks!
Thanks!
cliff, thanks for getting back. so its 10pm and i just got home from work and looks like my roommate stopped by to pick up the mail before I did earlier today and picked up the package for me and didnt tell me.....so it did come in today and the kit is arranged VERY NICE. Extreemly impressed with the neatness of the packaging. My only question is on the instructions provided, do I follow the "moving H4 installation" or the circuit diagram?...and I have 4 fuses total, these required for install as well or not? thanks again man and I will pound my roommate for the embarassment he made me go through on here.
Hey Bossman,
About the fuses- you don't need them- they're included just in case you blow one of your fuses in the car's factory electrical system or the inline fuse along the red wire.
There are only 7 connections the 9006 kit requires.
1) Connect red wire to the battery.
2) black wire to ground.
3) The really really long wire with the plug that has the rubber insulation on it goes to the ballast opposite the battery.
4) The shorter wire with the plug that has the rubber insulation on it connects to the ballast on the battery side.
5) There will be somewhat of a shorter plug that will connect to your factory headlight plug on the battery side. This triggers the relay to send power to the ballasts.
6) Connect the ballast to the bulb on the battery side.
7) Connect the ballast to the bulb on the side opposite the battery.
You should be done. Just make sure you spend some time to align your headlights since they may be a little off after having fiddled with the lights.
For those of you who purchased the 9003 kits, you will have the same connections to make however your bulbs will need to connect to the factory wiring harness to draw power for the high beams.
For those kits, there is a write up on how to modify the wiring harness but I have done most of the work and have color coded the final connections for you. For reference, please check out the write up here:

Thanks!
Oh yeah- just to clarify since I've received some questions about the wiring harnesses.
The wire harness is INCLUDED IN THE PURCHASE OF THE KIT.
Thanks again for all your orders and have a great weekend.

Cliff, I just finished installing the kit but there is a slight problem though, I believe from the looks of the lights when 'on' that they are not a 3500k type. My drivers side has a blue, green tint to it whereas the rightside is very halogen looking. The color just does not match up to what you have listed on your website for that kelvin. Please let me know what you need to check or for me to send to you, but I do believe that I did not get a 3500k type.
-Geoff
for reference-

My passengers side looks 4300k, and the drivers side looks like the 8000k.
