Does this scan guage function with any vehicle or is it vehicle specific? reason being is I may or may not sell/trade the tC by next summer and if it can work with anything (say a subaru or a honda) that is has an OBDII port I might invest into this =)

How exactly does the Clear CEL's work, does it automatically reject them or what? I have a MAF problem that wont go away.

So you could make a code to tell the MAF sensor to STFU?

 

no.
each error on a car has its own code.
so it will just give you the code.
normally you would google it and find out that its a MAF sensor code.
then you could clear it with the scangauge.
but chances are it will still come back every once in a while.
