Hello,
I have a 2008XD and just joined the site looking for info about the dreaded 2008 water pump! I have owned the car since 2008, it had 1800 miles on it when we bought it. I drive 100 miles a day in my commute and the car currently has 122,200 miles on it. The alternator went just a couple of weeks ago and now my water pump is growling.
I am going to attempt the change out the pump myself.
