just bought a '10 xb rs7

just a week ago I purchased a 2010 scion xb release series 7.0 in murasaki blue with a manual transmission..... and I love it. I previously owned a 2006 Toyota camry se for 4 years so im already a big fan of Toyota products..... I had my heart set on another camry se but I knew the xb would be a much more cost effective car to own and would be more fun and unique than a camry. my xb has the same 2azfe as my camry did so I know it will be reliable as sin except I will probably need to replace the water pump at some point but I got it certified so i'm not worried about it. I like the transmission and the way its so easy to drive
but id kill for a 6th gear.
I really like the factory mods of the RS 7 including the body kit, centered dual exhaust pipes, trd springs, and the color of course.
when I bought it I asked for a side skirt to be reattached which they didn't do so I took it back after 4 days to have them fix it and replace the original battery and they found out the alternator had a bad diode so I haven't had my toaster in a few days
but at least they gave me a brand new camry se as a rental 
im hoping I don't have any more problems with it
I am planning to do a few minor mods on my toaster but nothing crazy because I do have a car payment
sound: my ipod sounded like a toy when I hooked it up and I didn't think the stock radio had any adjustments but I found the manual for the radio thru scion and I found out you can adjust the bass and treble so I will tinker with it when I get my car back..... I am planning to install my small powered sub I had in my camry..... its just a 8" sound ordnance from crutchfield but its sounds good and itsnt obnoxious. if I can get the stock radio to sound good I will keep it but if I cant I will install a kenwood HU.
lighting: I just received bulbs and a relay kit from lightwerkz and I already have ballasts from them so I will install it tomoro (low beams)..... I may get fog lights for it eventually but im not sure yet. I ordered LED bulbs for the map and plate lights so i'm waiting on them but im not sure where I want to get my dome and trunk light LEDs from yet.
intake: im thinking about either the TRD cold air or the k&n ram air...... I had a k&n on my camry and loved it and liked that it was easy to clean but the TRD is a true cold air intake...... the only thing im slightly concerned about it is the TRD kit comes with a piece to replace the "brake vent" in the bumper under the left headlight and my car has the DAMD body kit on it so I don't know it that piece will fit to feed it cold air..... that and I don't want to risk hydrolocking my engine
armrest: its a joke and so is the center console...... I'd like to swap one from an '11 or newer but im sure theyre hard to find and/or expensive...... i'd be happy with just a better armrest though
I may do more as time goes on but we'll see
anyways im glad to be part of this forum and look forward to driving my toaster for the next few years
