My name is Carlos. I have a 98 Scion tC.
I am going to attend an arbitration meeting within two weeks, to discuss issues related to excessive burning oil. I am trying to obtain specific data about this topic, but it's being difficult.
I've read that many Scion owners believe that it is "normal" for this car to use too much oil. I rather believe that there is something wrong with the engine and we all should learn the truth about it.
So if you guys can direct me towards the right direction to document my case, during this hearing, I will appreciate it very much.

The tC did not come into existence until late 2004 as a 2005.

 

Can also see if other cars running the same motor are having the same problem. Camry's, corrola's, xb2. Etc.
