Default New xA owner in Minnesota

Hello folks-
Just bought an '05 xA for my wife, after she lost her '98 Corolla (260,000 miles) in an accident last week. Very excited to have this super fun xA! Interior is mint, body has some scratches and scrapes. 192,000 miles on it.

Because the party I bought it from was vague about maintenance, I changed the oil and filter, air and cabin filters, PCV valve, and spark plugs (which were the NGK iridium...and didn't look bad). Coolant looks pinkish/red. ATF doesn't smell burnt and seems reddish.

I've been reading this forum, and look forward to learning more about our Scion! ( I also own a '95 Corolla wagon, and a '72 Gremlin X !)

Hello and welcome to the forum! Thanks for joining us and congrats on xA - looks great! May it provide unlimited fun and unhampered travel across all terrains for as long as you two are together. Be sure to reach out if there something we could do to help!

Thanks! I'll be searching past posts for info about any maintenance issues that come up...that's for sure.
