Newbie to Scion, not to cars or general mechanical. 2005 tC bought for my daughter in 2010, with 70,000 miles on it. She ran it up to 140k over the following years before buying her own car. The tC became a hand-me-down to my son for a couple years. He bought his own truck then the tC became the “back-up” car and my “rainy day” car when I don’t feel like riding my motorcycle. Now with 205k miles, it is still going strong. General PM along with tires, batteries, brakes and one power steering pump is all it has ever required. Wife’s car is a 2005 Camry with 190k miles but I can emphatically say the tC is the BEST car I’ve ever owned.
