Hi there. I just bought an '08 manual xD last week. I took the risk and got manual despite not knowing how to drive stick--but I'm already loving the feeling of control. It only took 2 days to put in my first aftermarket mod - red LED interior lighting - and I plan on doing much more.

I have almost collected all the components for an overhaul of the audio system. I plan to do a "stealth" install into factory locations and a sunken, probably custom, box in the back for the sub. My goal is to keep the head unit and steering wheel controls and figure out modding the iPod adapter for use with USB and my android phone (the aux input levels seem real low).

Because I bought the car with some lovebug damage to the front (common FL used car problem) I was thinking to replace the affected body items rather than just repaint them. I had the idea for a carbon fiber hood (good with the grey car color) and a body kit that replaces the bumper. Perhaps I will think about performance upgrades later, but I am enjoying my great fuel economy for now.
