Default 09 Scion Torque Converter Removal question..

Hello everyone! I recently acquired an 09 tC with a blown engine. I've pulled the engine/transmission out of the car and separated them to get the transmission ready for a new engine I ordered.
My question is: what is the best way to remove and then re-install the torque converter onto the new engine? I was looking at the FSM and it has me somewhat confused.

I've replaced many clutches, but this will be my first torque converter and I don't want to mess anything up.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

tq converter has to be installed on the transmission first then it get bolted to the fly wheel plate after the transmission gets bolted to the engine...
