100 octane............
I'm sure your company would love to know why you're putting 100 octane into a 4 cylinder engine designed to run 87 octane when they get the bill. Save your company's money and you from having to do a lot of explaining by not doing something that'll do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for your car.
^^^ Sure would be nice, wouldn't it? But unfortunately with our stock compression of 9.6:1, just advancing the timing wouldn't be enough to gain from 100 octane. The 11:1 CR pistons that ZPI are selling would be a nice addition. I believe the OP has an xB by reading his sig so he's already using relatively high CR pistons but has no displacement, he will see some gains from a timing advance but not enough to make it worthwhile.
Damn Toyota and their hacker-proof ECU's.
