Default 100k warranty info

with my car I picked up the 100k warranty. I honestly bought it because of the rim coverage but do not know exactly what else it covers. Would someone else tell me what it "doesnt" cover? I know this is a bad question but any help would help.

If you haven't already brought the warranty, don't.

Shop around.

You can buy them from any dealership, anywhere.

I've read about people buying from Portland (No sales Tax).

I've read about people getting the 100k warranty that is usually $1,300 for $600. If it comes from a Toyota dealer, it can be used anywhere.

yes, the 100k warranty from the dealership does cover the powertrain.

To get accurate info, you really need to read the warranty itself. We are assuming it is the same company, but there are several that sell this type of coverage and different dealers may sell different policies.

My understanding is, as long as it's dealer installed it is covered for the life of the warrenty (plus some, I think).

But I'd call the number on the warranty and ask them, anything you get from here will be an educated guess at best. :D

what is this rim coverage?

I bought the 100K mile warranty through the dealer since he threw it in for 500.00 plus if I sell it then its a good selling factor.

Yes, the supercharger is covered under warranty if installed by Toyota.

the rim coverage means that if you dent a rim due to bad roads (which i did) you get it replaced for free. I messed both the tire and rim up by hitting a hugep pothole. ....would have cost over $600 to fix from the dealer.

Interesting....I scraped up my rim due to a city curb. Doubt that's covered.
