so i have hit 40000 miles and i was wanting to know what i need to do to my car as far as maitnance. any help is much appreciated

 

What maintenance have you done so far? I don't mean to be a smart @ss, but did you read your owner's manual?

 

well i figured the dealer would tell me when i needed one. so i have done my oil changes

 

With your new car you received a scheduled maintainance guide. It's probably sitting behind your owner's manual right now.

In there it outlines the minor services every 5K miles and the major services every 15K miles. If you have not done these major services yet, it's time to start. They aren't BS as many will claim and they can be expensive, but they are what keeps these cars going for 200K+ miles without issue.

I skipped my 15k schedule stuff, only rotated tires and changed oil. So are you saying it wont last 200k then
