Default Air Filter

Sorry. . . this is really a stupid question.

How do you change the air filter on the intake? I've done it on other cars, but it seems to get stuck on the hoses/cables. I want to try undo the hose clamps, but don't want to break them. . . and the manual doesn't show how to do it either (why do Lexuses tell you, and not Scions? Most average Lexus owners will pay someone else to do theirs!!!!).

This is for an xA, although it should be the same in the xB. . . btw it gets real cramped in there. . . I hope it clears the strut bar.

ah i see. fabbing will be kinda hard seeing as that theres the air temp but i could see it pretty clearly in my head. not too bad a straight pipe or two with a few bends almost 90degrees tho . still better than stock

yes but also not that great. On a engine like this, be looking at stock power maybe 1% gain with that drop in. At least with a custom one, you get some looks & maybe a little more power all for about the same as that drop in.
