Default air filter change

hello all

can someone tell me how to change the air filter on my xB?

i see the front two clamps but when i undo those, it seems like i need to remove several hoses to get the filter compartment freed up so i can lift it up to put filter in...

am i seeing that correctly, and if so, which hoses do i remove to do it?

thanks!!

well, i got an answer thanks to Jerry at scionworld Yahoo forums:

just undo the top band clamp on the intake hose connected to the air filter case, pull hose gently off and undo clamps on filter case....also remove the vacuum hose from its clip to give a little maneuvering room...

lift front up [it is hinged in back] and gently lift up and twist to left slightly....the whole air cleaner top will come off and you can access the air filter then.... just make sure to look at the original air filter as it is placed so you can match the TRD one up when putting it in.....

i just did it and took me about 15 minutes [and i am slow]
