As a 4X4 person for years, there's something sad about a 4X4 that never gets off road...

If you're in the Manhattan area, feel free to message me and check the rust out. I mean, it's not a huge huge amount of rust or anything but it makes me wonder about the quality of this supposed "luxury" truck... luxury my ___ - i should have gone with the mercedes g500...

 

So far I've got 40,000 miles on the box, mostly from nasty NJ roads and no rust. yet.

 

Just a word on the previously mentioned undercarriage washes. If you are using an automatic wash with one of those, be aware. Those washes recycle the water and although they do filter it, that does nothing to take out the salt washed off of other cars before you. That means you are injecting salt water at extremely high pressure into your undercarriage every time you go through the wash.
