Default Armor All GEL for my TC dash? What do you recommend?

I tried Meguiar's Quik interior detailer and it was just too messy and inaccurate on my TC dash. Everything came out uneven and evaporated in a splotchy way...

Is there any reason I shouldn't try the Armor All Protectant Gel? If not, what do you all recommend?

Are you sure you applied it correctly? You're not supposed to spray it and leave it on. You're supposed to lightly mist areas and wipe it off.

I have been using QID for almost a year now on up to 5 different cars a week and have NEVER had the problems you described.

Ok, I was using the Meguiar's vinyl and rubber protectant, it has a "glue-like" texture if you look in the bottle. What does the Quik interior detailer look like? Also, is it better to apply it directly to the dash or first apply it to a rag or microfiber?

To answer the other question, the tC has an extremely textured vinyl surface, I'm sure it is like the XB.

so... you were using #40?

If so... that's a cleaner type product, not a protectant.

QID comes in a black spray bottle. it has a very thin consitency.

i like to spray a mf and then clean the dash with the moistened towel.
