Default Auto XB AEM intake rattle

After installing my AEM intake, I've noticed a rattle at stop lights. I've deduced this will be only evident on Automatics with the AEM intake.

The AEM attaches to the transmission with one bolt. In Drive gear, at full brake, the transmission vibrates at a different rate than the engine. If clearances are not just perfect with the AEM intake, a faint rattle may sound as the intake shakes at a different frequency than the engine.

I've made a few adjustments, now the rattle is only very very faint (I'm the only one who notices). Has anyone else experienced this? Is there a sure-fire solution?

I have found thats its where the sensor is at near the valve cover I have cut that extra part on the intake to where that sensor sits and let it hang you will find that it doesnt vibrate reallt much after that.....

I'll try it, but I don't think that's it. I already got the VCV electrically taped to the intake extension where the VCV is supposed to "clip" on.
Thank you tho.

Rattle source found.

The AEM filter element was vibrating against the back of the FOG LIGHTS. I just shifted the filter around and the rattle stopped.
I may anchor the filter away from this area using zip ties or silence it with a thin strip of foam rubber and some tape.
The connection of the filter to the intake pipe is rubber, so I may even be able to angle the filter away from the back of the light.

Scionaraxb, do you have fog lights on your car? Just wondering.

This is a common problem with the AEM intake.

Also, check under the intake pipe to make sure that it isn't contacting the air bag sensor on the "frame rail". I saw one that had almost worn a hole through the intake!
