Default Autopia: 2 kits; 1 dilemma

Which wash kit would you guys recommend a friend? My car is in desperate need of a good wash and I think Autopia has the best deals around. I was just wondering which kit you would purchase all things considered.

The Sonus Der Wunder Wash Kit
http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-derwash-kit.html

or

The Sonus Ultimate Wash Kit
http://www.autopia-carcare.com/son-ultwash-kit.html

The thing is, each kit only includes one mitt, one drying towel, and 2 detailing towels. Since I'm definitely getting one of either kit, would I need additional towels or other tools? A detailing brush? Clay? Any help is appreciated since I want to keep my car looking fresh. THANKS!

Vince.

Eurow brand sheepskin wash mitts: $4.96 apiece @ walmart

Meguiar's NXT soap: ~$5-10 @ walmart

2 25x36 WW drying towels: $18 (don't worry about the slightly irregular, I have 3 of these and can't see a difference between the regulars and the irregulars) @ http://www.pakshak.com/waffle-weave-...ular-sale.html

2 16x16 ultra-plush detailing towels: $12 @ http://www.pakshak.com/ultra-plush-m...l-16x16-2.html

total: $40

I detail semi-professionally. Pakshak has awesome towels. NXT soap is decent quality. Eurow mitts are the sh*t. ENjoy :D

they're different weaves of the microfiber fabric. The drying towel is a waffle weave pattern. It helps the MF absorb more water. The detailing towels are rather plush to aid in lifting dirt, wax, etc up and off the paint.

So when I dry the car I'm supposed to use the detailing towel first right?

So the detailing towel is used with the washing mitt? Can someone school me on this? I'm totally confused.

The detailing towel you can use afterwards, if you want to use a Spray Quik Detailer to help remove any left over waterspots.
