Which is the best clay bar to use? Just curious to what everyone else is using......

clay magic is good too...just make sure its the blue bar..

 

That is the only way! You'll love your car even more after you clay bar your car. I like to Wash my car first with Meguiers NXT wash, clay it, then 2 coats of Mequiers NXT wax and it turns out better then factory. haha! Have fun and enjoy!

 

Meguiar's.

 

I have used Meguiar's, Clay Magic, Mother's and a 3M clay bar. All of them worked equally well, did their job. I believe the Meguiar's lasted longer though. I keep mine in water which helps the debris work their way out while soaking.

 

Adam's is by far the best. However, Meguiars is the best claybar that you can buy in a Walmart.

 

I too have tried many of them, and I find very little difference
in them honestly.

 

I used mother's since thats the only one i can find in my local kragen and autozone.

Many of the mentioned clay bars are similar in performance with differences in color and abrasive quality.

After using a clay bar, your paint surface should feel smooth as glass. Your paint protection product will apply and remove easier. Length of protection/durability will also be increased. You will see the true paint color of your vehicle.

 

i got the mothers clay bar because i couldnt find any meguiras clay bar anywhere. not even at walmart. thinking of claying my car next week then using scratch x then coat it with mequiras wax. good idea to wash, clay, then scratch x? or should i wax first before applying scratch x?
