Default bumper ding - question

over the weekend i was parrallel parking my car and backed into a boat hitch. it left a small ding and a scratch about an inch and a half long. my buddy told me about this guy in san diego called the bumper medic who will fix it up by heating up the area and reforming it. he also does the touch up for the scratches. has anybody ever heard of a service like this and if you're in the san diego area do you have any recommendations? and if you've had it done, did your bumper turn out pretty good afterwards? just wanting to shop around if possible. the guy quoted me around 300 over the phone so it could change once he looked at it. thnx.

What part of the bumper is the ding on? If its on the bottom spoiler part, you may be able to just replace the spoiler and save money.

I would avoid the "Bumber Medic" at all costs.....

it's on the actual bumper right below the license plate (got a tC by the way, forgot to mention that in the last post). i'm not a big fan of the bumper medic but my friend is a manager of an ace parking lot and says they go through them all the time. the work is suppose to turn out really well. i was hoping that more people would have input on it but guess not...

well if the guy offers money back gaurantee, then go for it!

BUT as I always tell my customers, the cheap always comes out expensive!
