The California Car Duster
nope it is not washable,it has written on the package that the dirtier it gets the better it works.and yup I've had mine for like six years and it is dirty dirty but it keeps my rides still shiny.
Doesn't it say "the dirtier it is, the better it works" or something like that on the packaging?
Well if it's mad-super-dirty, then handwashing it with mild soap will do the trick. Just don't scrub it to hell or anything. And, keep some of the dirt on it so it'll work better. I'm actually serious.

It works on "dust", the problem is when people use it on heavily soiled cars. That "dirtier, works better" slogan is B.S. Have you ever seen a dirty one being used at a car show? No. Once it becomes dirty, those dirt particles WILL drag across your paint and scratch it.

If it's leaving swirl marks, then I am wondering how you use it exactly cuz I only use straight strokes, just letting the ends touch on the paint, but not the whole duster...
For those of you who down the california car duster, I was wondering what you would recomend for such job? Clue me in. I did notice some micro-maring in the clear coat after using for a while.
