Car locking mechanism is acting wierd...
Hey guys. I have an 07 scion tc and I am experiencing some issues with the car's locking and unlocking mechanism. A couple months ago I was unlocking my car with my remote and only the passenger side door and the hatch would unlock. The next day I went again to unlock my car and all the doors unlocked, but now when I went to lock the doors only the driver's side and hatch locked. For the next month I pretty much started playing the which door will unlock and lock game because it was either both doors would unlock or only the driver's side or passenger side would. The hatch would always unlock and lock. Well recently my door locks have stopped working all together, so now I have to manually flip the lock on the interior handle to lock the doors and when I need to get in my car I have the crawl through the hatch since this is the only door that still works with my remote. I have tried my spare remote and it is doing the same as my daily remote. Any idea what this could be? I have reprogrammed each remote correctly, replaced the batteries but still nothing.
Thanks
Thanks
Sounds like you could have some door lock actuators that have gone bad. My question is why do you crawl in from the hatch? You should still be able to unlock the doors manually with the key to unlock your drivers side door to get into the car or does your key not unlock the drivers door also?
