Default which car wash soap brand?

I got the wax while you wash stuff, but i know its not good to wax your car bi-weekly, so I was wondering which car wash soap do you guys use to wash your car on a weekly basis. I like to keep my car shining and sparkling, but i don't want to wear down the paint, or wax too often. What do you guys use and recommend?

I just buy the Armorall brand of carwash soap. It's cheap and readily available at Wal-Mart. Honestly, I don't think it matters which brand as long as it's actual carwash soap. Most of them (like the Armorall stuff) are made so they won't strip off your current wax protection and they're safe for your clear coat.

For the first two washes before i used the wax while you wash stuff, i just used some soft dish soap. It seemed to work fine, but i have a feeling i should be using something else. Just wanted some recommendations, if you guys had any. If it doesn't make a difference maybe the dish soap is the way to go?

DON'T USE DISH SOAP!! It will strip your wax. The detergents in dish soap are WAY too harsh for regular use on your paint. The only time dish soap is recommended is if you want to strip off all wax so you can start over with a freash coat. For normal weekly washing, buy a carwash soap.

The Mr. Clean Auto-Dry car wash system for me. Works great and dries with no spots.

The Mr.Clean soap sux bad..the dispenser uses it up too fast (duh, of course, they have to sell refills...).but the filtered rinse works real well.

I figured of course it's gonna use a lot of soap since it's constantly spraying fresh soap instead of the recycled soap you would have in a bucket. I'd rather wash my car with a constant supply of fresh water instead of using dirty water from a bucket.

When I wash a car, I empty the bucket, give it a quick rinse, rinse the sponge and start over with fresh water and soap about 4 different times throughout the wash.

I'm lost... What is the water only bucket for? To rinse off the car instead of using a hose?

I think it's to rise the wash cloth or sponge he's using.
