Default Carbon fiber bumper

All this talk of paint chipping has me thinking some carbon fiber on the front would be more practical. Anything out there like that? (Other than the hood)

Nope not at all.

CF would have the chips too because you have to clear coat it and that defintely doesn't protect against rocks. The only thing that will work will be the ugly factory bra or the clear 3M bra.

But nice try with the CF idea because that would definitely be nice to rock.

the only thing is that it might be a little easier to buff out rock chips as long as it doesn't go down to the fiber. with paint you need touch up, but then that doesn't even look right. it is a good idea if you are able to color sand buff out the clear and add more if need be.

i think CF is more for look...than against rock chips...

ive heard bad stuff about 3M clear bra, the clear coat will come off when u peel off the bra...and its SO EXPENSIVE TOO
