You could maybe but why risk the damage? Just have it hand washed if you can't do it yourself. The price you pay for living in an apartment that has stupid rules.

I don't know. I wouldn't trust a machine, but I have less faith in another one of those el-cheapo hand washers to touch my tC. Washing with dirty rags and brushes, diswashing liquid, etc etc. I enjoy not having scratches and swirls and future damaged paint on my tC!

I worked at a gas station and I have seen some horrible things happen to vehicles. Wash it yourself!!!

I washed my old car at work all the time. Even though it didn’t noticeably scratch the paint, over time those tiny scratches added up and eventually showed. Always avoid soft-cloth washes unless you have crappy paint to begin with.

Touch-less washes are a little better. Measure the rail height and then measure your ride height. Also keep in mind that you may scratch your rims with low profile tires.

The best wash I have seen was one where you pull your car in and park, then the sprayers rotate around you. Well it wasn’t as good as a thorough hand wash, but it was the next best thing.

And as someone else mentioned, bring your own wash mitt. Somebody before you was using that brush to scrub off the mud, dirt, and gravel from their mud-runner.

So I guess you didn't totally ignore what I said earlier It's cheaper to pay someone to handwash than it is to pay someone to repaint.

i live in vegas and it is illegal to wash your car anywhere other than a car wash, due to water shortage...but i love to wash my car so i just take a couple of buckets of water/soap/microfibers/etc. and wash it in my parking stall..and i take my time...a cop actually drove past me and complimented me on my car...
