Default Cleaning Exhaust on the TC

Its been a while since the last time I gave my tC a bath and the exhaust has gotten extremely dirty. Due to the amount of snow we have been getting in the northeast and the extremly cold temperatures I have been putting off washing the car. Well I plan on doing a full wash and wax within the next couple of days and was wondering what you guys use to clean the exhaust tip. I have the TRD exhaust and its pretty black, will soap take this off or do I have to use something else? Thanks.

Spray it down with a degreaser like Simple Green and let it sit for a bit, hose it down and wipe it clean. If you want it gleaming, pick up a jar of Meguiar's NXT All Metal Polish and watch that baby shine.

I need to bring this back up to save from writing another post. I also have the TRD exhaust, i have some black on it, but i also have some small tiny rust spots from this past winters salts and snow. Whats a good way to get that stuff off, cause it didn't scrub off when detailed the car.

eagle one's Nevr-Dull is a easy to use metal polish. Wipe off all the dirt and grime that you can, and then use the metal polish to clean everything leftover off.

Exactly what I was going to say. Windex has been the best so far at keeping my HKS clean. People always ask me how I keep my exhaust so *Clean* and New looking.

Windex for the best clean. My .02
