Default Cleaning Interior...

I was wondering what do you use to clean the dash & interior of your car (especially tC owners). And what do you use to clean the seats as well?

Thanks in advance...

I use an Armorald vinyl cleaning Foam that they sell at Autozone, as well as the McGuire's quick interior detailer. The seats, I just vaccum. I hate the glossy wet look on my interior so I would stay WELL away from the armorald wipes.. Also, if you show your car, you might want to invest in a set of "Show" mats. In other words, get you a BRAND NEW set of floor mats and only put them in at a show. do not use them. But after you've applied enough cleaner to the dash, you can then take you a California duster and dust it right off!

my dash and other plastics gets cleaned with meguiar's #40 and then an application of DP interior surface protectant (smells like bubble gum yummy!).
painted interior tidbits gets the same treatment as the exterior paint.
seat cleaning is handled by a porter cable using a cyclo carpet brush and 10:1 diluted meguiar's all purpose cleaner and water. spritz, and then scrub with the brush for a minute or so, and then spritz and wipe until all the cleaner is gone.
carpets + floor mats receive the same treatment as the seats.
of course the interior is vacuumed before i start scrubbing
as a final step, i take a boars hair brush and brush the carpet all to 1 direction so that it looks even. Now that the interior is sueded, i'll be doing it to the headliner and such also.

Harrison,
I'll make sure to come see you when i'm in FL so you can hook up my interior.

I've had this dumb stain on my back seat head rest b/c when the guys did my back tints they used like a whole bottle of windex and it kept leakin inside the car. Never got it fixed, but I know it'll come out.

Are you sure its windex? Usually they use this soapy water, and yea, my tinter sprayed it and got it everyone too... didn't bother cleaning it up... it was even all over the outside paint and windows too

Luckily it wasn't too bad on the seats... just wiped it up with a MF towel and Meg's APC 10:1

Had ot use a magic eraser + 10:1 Meg's APC on the interior panels to get rid of some the soap residue though. If any of you are in Orlando, I do not recommend the tinting shack on 50

good luck
