I'm not quite 5'5" and I take a little step stool out to be able to really reach the roof on my xA. I'm sure I look kind of dorky standing on my little stool cleaning my car, but I can get my roof nice and clean that way.

I'm 5' 10" tall and I have had trouble reaching the middle of my roof to clean it. That changed on Sunday after it was dropped 2 inches. I can now reach about 3/4 of the roof from one side without much of a reach.

I use Windex :-D

Sorry, I had to. This post showed up in the tC thing.

Yeah, I think the wash broom is the only solution. They also sell microfiber mops that should do the trick.

I noticed reaching across the xB roof was difficult as well. But it never occured to me to ask on a forum for a solution.
What did I do???? I looked around the garage....found a short bucket....turned it over along side the xB....stood on it....WOW! What a difference. Now I can wax over halfway across the roof while on one side.

Can anyone tell me how to do the other side of the roof?

I keep an old metal folding chair in my garage. It's light enough to move quickly and easily around the car,
and it's the perfect height to stand on and do the roof. When I'm done with it, it folds up flat to lean against
the wall in the garage. If you can't find and old one, Wal-Mart has new ones for around $10.

I'm sure my neighbors get a good laugh when they see me with the stepstool! My driveway slopes down several degrees just outside the garage doors, so the car is even more out of reach on that one side.

Use a wash mitt that doesn't leave streaks or swirls to hand wash the car. I wipe out the sills when I'm done with the wash. Don't like standing on them tho.
