Default Cleaning seats

well my seat got messed up again. my cousin dropped a semi-empty cup of ice cream on me and most of it ended up on my seat. scion tc 09.

i cleaned most of it with napkins...i dont want to use soap and water just yet cuz i dont know if it'll cause mild dew and nasty stuff like that.

wats the best way to clean it? the seats.

my gf spilled iced coffee on the carpet in her car. i hit it with some blue coral upholstery cleaner that i picked up at autozone, and it all came out with no visible stains. it's good stuff.

Well, the thing is, on 09 seats- and maybe 08's- is the fabric is different than that of a normal car without leather.

Its that.. mesh-like fabric that can "scratch". I know this because I let my dog go for a ride after I cut her nails and she sort of "scratched" the fabric. Its basically left a mark where the mesh was pulled slightly. I've since pushed on the seat and it doesnt stick out as much.

You might get the opinion of an upholstery shop. Good luck.
