Default cleaning the seats

i bought some fresh OJ from work and i forget about it and left it in the back seat. next day after a few hours in the florida heat. the plastic container got hot and popped off the top of the container and some OJ spilled on the seats. now my tc smells like the refrigerated dough from pillsbury. what do you guys recommend to clean the seats and then neutralize the scent? Im thinking fabreeze for the odor but what about cleaning the pulp and juice?

Use a carpet steamer that has a furniture attachment. And febreeze or carpet fresh (the no vacuum foam kind) will work for the smell. Hope that helps!!

THAT is exactly what you need to do, and QUICK before that stuff starts growing
some fungi in your seats!! (probably too late, but whatever).

If you don't have access to a steam cleaner, I would at least use an upholstery cleaning product. I've always liked "Tuff Stuff".

i'm not sure what that red overlay does. isn't the normal one that comes standard red?

also, what's the black one look like when you push the break?

When you apply the break, about 6-7 inches of the middle lights up red (the rest doesn't have a light) but when it's off, the plastic is white/clear. The overlay just "colors" the plastic, either smoked or red. The smoked overlay dims the red abit, but that's about it. PM bluebatmobile for info (or e-mail him at dubblea@peoplepc.com) or check out his other overlays at www.bluebatmobile.com

Back to situation at hand, I'll rent a Rug Doctor and hopefully that'll clean the seats.

Well since you're going to rent it anyhow, your mom said to do the living room too.

And after you finish with the Rug Doctor, go get a can of Scotch Guard. (You can find it at Target in the Automotive section.) I used this on my front and rear seats and it really does help! My gf had Starbucks in my tC and spilled it on the passenger seat. The coffee just beaded up and I cleaned it up in a jiffy. (She was lucky!) Oh yeah, keep a couple of Microfiber towels with you. They too made clean up a snap!

Not sure if you know or not but when I had my car apart for new speakers it looked like the seat covers zipper off.
