custom glass enclosure
http://www.teamfocus.us/speakerbox.htm
im seriously considering toying around with this sometime within the next two weeks or so. im looking for a odd shaped 3 12" enclosure that could incorporate my amps.
a friend of mine says he is willing to help me out with the task....
has anyone tried something like this yet, rather than have a shop do it

Oh... Custom FIBERglass encloser.
See, I was picturing like a Terrarium or something.
All kidding aside, though, fiberglassing is really not that hard. If you mess up, you can always lay a few more pieces and some resin over it and sand it down.
I fixed the trunk of my last car with fiberglass, after a steel pipe fell on it and left a 5 inch long, 1/4 inch deep dent in it. I had zero fiberglassing experience to begin with, and at the end, you could not tell... Except for the primer.
The supplies are expensive but not unreasonable. Just do yourself a favor and wear long sleeves and gloves, the stuff itches like crazy when you're sanding.
