I recently just noticed a knocking sound in my front end on the drivers side. When i turn left i hear a knocking sound, and when i am driving slow(ex: up to a stop sign) hitting little bumps i can hear the knocking sound. I have heard it may be my CV joint and i have H&R coilovers, so i was wondering if something happened to my struts.

its an 08 though how many miles on it ?

it has 22k on it and no i never drive it hard

 

it does sound like a cv problem. but thats weird though. i doubt the coilovers could be the problem but they might. have you taken the front wheels off and looked at them closer ?

 

just got back from schwabs and they rotated and balanced my tires and now the problem is gone i checked the cv and shocks and they were fine so i guess its ok for now

the knocking sound is back, me and my dad took off the front tire and its not the shock we think its the cv joint....does anyone know if it would still be under warranty?

 

Under 36k and 3 years you're covered bumper to bumper. I think drivetrain is 5 years/60k miles.
