Happy to hear it turned out well. A shame you had to go through the hassle.

Wow, and congrats. It looks to me like Scion is really into helping people who bought their cars. This is unheard of if you buy a domestic. You are the second guy here who has had a major problem with thier xB, and Scion has stepped up to the plate and made it right. The other guy ( i forget his name ) had a xB that kept stalling every time he stopped. Couldnt find the problem, so he got a whole new xB.

If you want to do the service manager good, drop a letter in the mail to Scion telling them what went on, and how he took care of you and kept you in the loop while it was being worked on. If more people did this, i think Scion will keep on looking out for their customers.

The dealer sent me a letter letting me know a service survey was on the way. After I mail that off I was thinking of sending toyota and scion corp. a letter im not sure if they are in the same deal or whatever but I want to make sure he gets a raise or something. Great guy.

Okay here we go again, so after the new motor and all.

I go to start my car and its bogging its turning over and trying to start so finally it does and then when I am on the gas it kinda boggs down like there is water in the intake or something.

I take it to the dealer the reset the check engine light and say its says all four coil packs are bad for some reason but they are not.

I take it home.

Next day same thing only this time it doesnt start at all turns over but no bogging nothing smell like gas like you wouldnt believe. I take it to the dealer again.

Brand new ecu and complete wire harness for engine bay and thing runs like a champ.

So far I have a new motor, all new electrical in engine bay, new maf sensor, new coilpacks, new injectors, new mid section of the exhaust, new pedals, and a new ecu. I pretty much have a new car again.

Sheesh, keep an eye on it, you may end up getting a whole new car if they cant get that one to stay running.

Didn't Saturn replace entire cars (not just the engine) due to bad anti-freeze?
