dealer 15,000 mile servicing list
Hey I got the list for what the dealer service includes for ~$350
This is the list for the 15,000/30,000/45,000/60,000 mile service:
*Chassis Lubrication
Change Engine Oil
Genuine Oil Filter
Change Air Filter
Change Spark Plugs (at 30,000)
*Replace Fuel Filter (at 30,000)
*Genuine PCV
Add JB Fuel Injection Cleaner
*Inspect/Adjust Brakes/Drivershaft Boots
*Inspect/Lube Suspension
Inspect Exhaust System
Rotate Tires/Balance (Balancing may cost extra)
Check/Refill Fluids
Add JB Transmission Cleaner
Clean Rear Breakes (at 30,000)
*Throttle Body/Inspect
*Check ABS/SRS System
Wiper Inserts/15k
*Service Battery
*Repack Wheel Bearing (Where applicable: at 30k)
*Performance Road Test
Inspect/Adjust Belts, Hoses
*Test Power Steering System
*Emission System Inspection
It seems like a lot... I put asterisks next to the things I really don't know how to do myself or just plain don't know what it is... is it possible to do all those things? is it worth it to let the dealer do all these things?

Yeah do yourself a favor go by your tC owner's manual. Save yourself from the BS and save some $$$. Also service can be done by "anyone". Biggest thing is to get it done right and record what ya do. That or start showin some love to a scion service tech and get the hook up
DIY save your money for mods and food!
