Sup guys! I need opinions & suggestions whether to do the 5k service at the dealership. The service includes:
- Replace engine oil & filter
- Adjust tire pressure
- Rotate tires
- Test battery
- Inspect/Check the following:
Drive belts
All fluids
All lights
All belts & hoses
Wiper blades
Steering & shocks
Exhaust pipe & muffler
- Clean/Adjust brakes
- Complete vehicle inspection
- Road test

I got a coupon in the mail from the dealership I bought my car from for $59.99 + tax. Now here's my dilemma...I already did my 1st oil change at 3k using 1 of the 3 free oil changes that Scion offer. I decided to do my 1st oil change at 3k because I just thought that 5k is a bit long for a break-in period and that it seems like mostly everyone in here are doing the same and that some are even doing it earlier. I have just a bit over 5k right now and that I am planning to change my oil again at 6k BUT the coupon expires on 2/15/06. So, should I just wait near the expiration date and get as much miles out of my daily driving and do the 5k service at the dealership? OR should I just wait till 6k and use my 2nd free oil change? I guess I'm just really worried that I have to have a tire rotation every 5k and that I'm already just a bit over 5k. Do we really need to do a tire rotation every 5k? Anyways, I need some feedbacks on what I should do?
