Default Door dings.

Since I got my car Ive been pretty **** about my paint washing it ones a week using wax and such. Now as I was washing my car yesterday I come to this ding next to the door under the side light. I usually park as far as possible and away from cars as far as possible (sounds obsessive I know) so ding wouldnt happen and now I find this. Now I have two questions abou this one is there a way to fix it the ding is just a dent no paint damage its not even noticeble until you look at an angle when the car is clean and the relfection is off. Is there a way to get rid of it? two I started wondering why does our car not have door guards, my last 99 accrod had them and i would always park it in areas next to cars and iam sure the door guards did their job (the little strips on cars right in the middle of the door) since our car doensnt have them is there something that can be put in their place thatll do the same thing? or some other alternative? It would really kill me if i had a bunch of those and I only had the car for 4 months so far.

Dent Wizard, Dent Doctor; They go by several names. Check with your dealership for the name of the local guy. They usually operate out of a truck and visit car lots on a weekly basis. If the new car salesman does not know I bet the Used Car Manager knows who you can call. I have gone to a dealership where he will be on a given day and had a dent fixed. Charged me $50 as I recall and took him 5 minutes. There are also guys that touch up paint chips that work the same way. You can hardly tell there was a chip after they finish. Years ago when I sold cars guys came by weekly and put on body side moldings and pin stripes too.

im **** on parking next to people. So i park at least 7 to 8 car spots away from others. I dont take 2 parking spots cause that just asks' for a key to your paint or something. I hate it when im the only 1 in the parking lot and a person has to park right next to me! Ive seen some commercials about door dings, hopefully i wont have to search for them!

door guards look retarded, just keep parking far away from others.

to fix the ding, find a PDR shop.
